Rio de Janeiro 2019
From 29 to 31 May 2019 the city of Rio de Janeiro hosted the 1st MUFPP Regional Forum in South America.
Ghent 2019
The 2019 meeting of the Eurocities Working Group Food has been hosted by the city of Ghent, Belgium, with a focus on the climate impact of local food systems.
Brazzaville 2018
The cities of Abidjan, Bobo-Dioulasso, Dakar, Douala, N’Djamena, Niamey, Nouakchott, Praia, Yaounde and the host city, Brazzaville, met from 12 to 14 June 2018, for the 2nd MUFPP Regional Forum in Africa.
Lyon 2018
The city of Lyon, France, hosted the Working Group Food for the second semester meeting of 2018. The focus of the meeting was on periurban agriculture initiatives and rural-urban linkages.
Amsterdam 2018
The meeting has been hosted by the city of Amsterdam in 2018 with a focus on food waste management and reduction.
Valencia 2017
The 3rd Regional Forum of the Eurocities WG Food has been held during the 3rd MUFPP Annual Gathering and Mayors Summit hosted by the city of Valencia, Spain, in October 2017.
Birmingham 2017
In 2017 the city of Birmingham hosted the first meeting of the Working Group Food cities, providing the setting for the sharing of knowledge and experiences within MUFPP European cities.
Dakar 2016
The first MUFPP African Regional Forum was held in Dakar, Senegal, from 20 to 22 September 2016 and saw the participation of 7 MUFPP cities in Africa.
Bruxelles 2016
In 2016 a first group of cities gathered in Brussels to discuss the possibility to create a Working Group Food within Eurocities, the main European cities’ associations
