The first 2020 WG Food meeting was held online in July due to the outbreak of the pandemic, providing an occasion to meet among member cities after the cancelled meeting in person formerly scheduled in March 2020.
Montpellier 2019
The meeting of the Eurocities Working Group Food took place on the occasion of the 5th MUFPP Annual Gathering and Mayor’s Summit, hosted by the City of Montpellier (France) in October 2019.
Niamey 2019
The 3rd MUFPP Regional Forum in Africa took place in Niamey, Niger, from June 11 to 13, 2019. It was organized by the city of Niamey, ACRA Foundation and the MUFPP Secretariat.
Rio de Janeiro 2019
From 29 to 31 May 2019 the city of Rio de Janeiro hosted the 1st MUFPP Regional Forum in South America.
Ghent 2019
The 2019 meeting of the Eurocities Working Group Food has been hosted by the city of Ghent, Belgium, with a focus on the climate impact of local food systems.
Brazzaville 2018
The cities of Abidjan, Bobo-Dioulasso, Dakar, Douala, N’Djamena, Niamey, Nouakchott, Praia, Yaounde and the host city, Brazzaville, met from 12 to 14 June 2018, for the 2nd MUFPP Regional Forum in Africa.
Lyon 2018
The city of Lyon, France, hosted the Working Group Food for the second semester meeting of 2018. The focus of the meeting was on periurban agriculture initiatives and rural-urban linkages.
