The MUFPP Secretariat together with the Steering Committee is happy to launch the Call for the Global Forum Hosting City 2022.
As for previous years, the requirements to submit your candidacy are as follows:
- an adequate hosting venue;
- logistic and organizational expertise in international events;
- full financial means to support the whole organization and logistics of the event, travel expenses and hospitality for participating members of LDCs (Least Developed Countries)
In your candidacy we would ask for a Global Forum event theme and concept within the MUFPP themes. It would also be meaningful if the Global Forum event could be connected to the framework of a larger international context. At this link you can find our practical guidelines.
A preference will be accorded to applications from MUFPP Regions that never hosted a Global Forum before.
The next MUFPP Global Forum may take place once more around the date of the World Food Day.
If your city is interested, submit your candidacy within Monday 20 September 2021 by sending us the letter of commitment signed by your Mayor or a delegate and the bid document filled out.
