Since 2016, the City of Milan and Fondazione Cariplo have promoted the Milan Pact Awards (MPA) to support urban food policies and encourage knowledge sharing among cities. The awards also help track progress since the signing of the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact, with 621 best practices collected to date.

The 2025 Milan Pact Awards ceremony will take place during the MUFPP Global Forum in Milan on October 15, 2025, where winners and special mentions for each category will be announced.
