We are excited to announce that the next MUFPP Global Forum will take place from October 14 to October 16, 2025 in Milan.

This important event will bring together representatives and mayors from the Milan Pact community of cities, as well as key stakeholders collaborating with the Milan Pact to shape more sustainable and resilient urban food systems at both global and city-region levels.

The forum will feature an inspiring agenda, including high-level plenary, regional sessions, side events, and the prestigious Milan Pact Awards 2025 Ceremony, which will recognize the most significant city practices related to the Milan Pact Framework for Action and its six categories.

In addition, the forum will offer optional activities to enrich the experience. Here’s a preview:

• October 13: A Food Policy Training session for cities that are just starting to develop their food policies, alongside several side events.
• October 17: Field visits and social activities.

The theme of the forum will be: “Building on a Decade of Joint Success: Envisioning the Future of Urban Food Systems”.

Over the past decade, MUFPP has inspired cities worldwide to transform their food systems, guided by a shared vision of resilience, equity, and sustainability. The upcoming Global Forum in Milan will be an opportunity to celebrate these ten years of collective achievements.
Looking to the future, during the event, we will explore new strategies for innovating urban food policies and shaping the next era of sustainable urban food systems. With this goal in mind, we will build upon MUFPP’s core: the Framework for Action, which is structured around six categories that reflect the local efforts of our cities.
